The objective of the ESA project “Wide range high-resolution LiDAR imager” WALLIE, lead by FBK, is to bring to the next level the developments pursued in the previous project MILA, by realizing a large resolution SPAD-based flash lidar. The laser range imager for navigation and landing will be realized for use in future ESA space exploration missions and tested against radiation environments.

FastGhost aims to demonstrate the benefits of quantum imaging in a microscopy lab demonstrator on TRL 4 targeting imaging in medicine and life sciences.

Random Power harnesses the quantum properties of semiconductors to generate a virtually endless stream of random bits feeding cyber-security systems.

NQSTI is a large collaborative project funded through the Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza (the Italian Recovery and Resilience Plan) within the framework of “Next generation EU” targeting the development of quantum technologies and systems.
