Francesca Mattedi
- Technologist MNF | Micro Nano Facility
Biography
Francesca Mattedi is a Micro Nano Facility (MNF). She is a materials engineer specializing in process engineering for microfabrication. After gaining significant experience in microfabrication at FBK earlier in her career, she co-founded and led a microfabrication services startup for eight years, overseeing technical development, business operations, and customer relationships. She subsequently returned to FBK, where she coordinates cleanroom production batches and serves as the reference person for physical vapor deposition (PVD) of metals using sputtering systems. Her technical expertise spans thin-film deposition, chemical vapor deposition (CVD), lithography, and etching, supporting the development and fabrication of advanced micro- and nanostructured devices for research and technological applications.
