From vision to innovation: a journey between Open Facility, IPCEI and Chips Act

Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Povo (Trento, Italy)
Via Sommarive 18
Povo (TN) - Italy
Closing event of the IPCEI ME@FBK project
During the event, the Fondazione Bruno Kessler’s clean rooms, the technologies and sensors developed by researchers in these specialised laboratories and the FBK Open Facility model, which supports research, innovation and companies in the strategic sector of microelectronic devices, will be highlighted.
FBK’s involvement in the European IPCEI and Chips Act programmes will also be presented. These major projects, strongly supported by the European Community, now play a strategic role in maintaining a competitive and long-term position in areas such as safety, environment and health, also thanks to new developments in micro- and nanotechnology.
The presentation of FBK’s achievements in the IPCEI ME will be followed by the sharing of FBK’s technology roadmap, which is closely linked to the new IPCEIs and the Chips Act, in order to stimulate discussion on how to optimise future developments, also in favour of greater involvement of companies.
Full schedule to be released shortly
