CTA+
CTA+ is an PNRR-funded project aiming to replace the photomultiplier tubes currently in use by the CTAO experiment with solid-state photosensors (SiPMs). This detector upgrade would result in a larger photosensitive area while maintaining low optical cross talk. The Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory (CTAO) is a ground-based telescope array studying high-energy phenomena from astrophysical objects.
