Biography

Vittorio Guarnieri is the Research Liaison Officer for the Centre of Sensors and Devices. He has a strong background in research, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship. Currently, he manages the Centre’s relations with Public Authorities, stakeholders, as well as the European Commission and Community agencies in Brussels, providing critical support and strategic direction. Through the development and coordination of promotional activities showcasing the Centre’s research and capabilities, Vittorio attracts and fosters international scientific and technical collaborations. Growing and disseminating the Centre’s research and innovation advances is an integral part of his work, enhancing the Centre’s business system and increasing its quality and competitiveness.

During his time as a researcher, he published more than 90 scientific articles including contributions to magazines and peer-reviewed articles (21), contributions to volumes (2) and books (3), conference proceedings (65), filed 3 patents and coordinated European, local and national research projects.
