Biography

Antonio Zappatore, born in Bari (BA), Italy, in 1996, is a PhD student of the Integrated Readout-ASICs & Image Sensors (IRIS) research unit at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK), Trento, in collaboration with the University of Salento, Lecce. He earned his B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering in 2020, followed by an M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering with a specialization in Microelectronics in 2022, both from Politecnico di Torino, Torino. His master’s thesis, titled “Hardware development and prototyping of a MIMO imaging RADAR using an innovative single-chip mmWave FMCW sensor,” was conducted at the RADARLAB of Politecnico di Torino. In 2023, he worked as a research fellow at Politecnico di Torino. Currently, his PhD research focuses on the design of CMOS readout circuits for Impedance Spectroscopy applied to MOX gas sensors.
