Biography

Andrea Adami earned the Italian Master degree in Materials Engineering in 2003 and the PhD in Information and Communications Technologies in 2010, both at the University of Trento, Italy. In 2003 he joined FBK with a researcher position on the topic of sensors and microsystems. He is currently senior researcher in the MST Research Unit. His main research interest is the development of microsystems, MEMS sensors and microfluidics, in particular for integrated sample preparation in analytical systems and sensors for industrial and space applications. He is author of more than 120 papers in Conferences and Scientific Journals and 2 patents. In addition to research projects, in his career he also developed several R&D collaborations with Italian industries to bring MEMS devices in innovative products.
