Biography
Fengyuan Liu received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Nanjing University in 2012 and 2015, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Glasgow in 2020. His research interests include electronic skin, robotic tactile sensing, printed and flexible electronics, and emerging neuromorphic devices. He has published 43 papers in prestigious journals including Science Robotics, Nature Electronics, Advanced Mateirals, etc. with a total citation of ~1600. He is currently a Marie Curie Global Postdoctoral Fellow jointly hosted by Fondazione Bruno Kessler and Northeastern University in the USA, where he leads the project: “Neuro-encoded Electronic Skin (NEUCODES)”. He is the researcher Co-I on the EPSRC-funded project “Green Optimized Printed Integrated Circuits (GEOPIC)”, guest editor of npj Flexible electronics, IEEE Journal on Flexible Electronics, Biomimetics, and TPC co-chair of the IEEE Online Forum on Climate Change Technologies (OFCCT) in 2024 and 2025.
