Biography
Gianpietro Maddinelli, born in Verone, Italy, in 1999, is a junior researcher of the Integrated Readout-ASICs & Image Sensors (IRIS) research unit at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK), Trento, Italy. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics at the University of Trento in 2021 and 2023. His engagement in the field of CMOS single-photon image sensors started with his master thesis and continued after joining the IRIS unit in 2024. Currently, he supports the unit in the design and electro-optical characterization of CMOS single-photon image sensors for applications in biomedicine, quantum optics and TIme-of-Flight LiDAR.
