IPCEI ME/CNT
IPCEI ME/CNT (IPCEI on Microelectronics and Communication Technologies), notified in 2023, concerns research and development projects covering microelectronics and communication technologies across the whole value chain from materials and tools to the chip designs and manufacturing processes. It follows and complement IPCEI ME. This project aims at enabling the digital and green transformation by: (i) microelectronics and communication solutions, and (ii) energy-efficient and resource-saving electronics.
In IPCEI ME/CNT FBK will further develop and strengthen the integration technology, including processes based on SiC and SiGe. Thanks to these technological platforms, a new generation of sensors and MEMS will be realized targeted to challenging application like space, autonomous driving, communication, environment.
