The principal application fields for the integrated optical circuits are biomedical sensing, miniaturization of spectrometers and interferometers, and devices for applications in telecommunications among others. In the context of quantum optics, we develop integrated optical circuits and devices for the generation, manipulation and detection of single and entangled photons on chips realized within the very same optical platform.
